Prewriting is anything you do as a writer before you sit down at the computer or with pen in hand, to write even the first word down. Pre-writing techniques can eliminate ‘writer’s block’ and blank page phobia. There are many different techniques to help writers put ideas down on to paper, we’ll cover just a few here.
